Directions to Lake Vermilion

Lake Vermilion is a large lake resting in northern Minnesota, about 85 miles north of Duluth, that nestles up against Superior National Forest and Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. These directions are to the Pike's Bay Marina, on Lake Vermilion coming from the Duluth area.

From Duluth, Minnesota:Pike's Bay Marina lies at one of the Lake Vermilion's southernmost points. Take US-53 N roughly 58 miles north. Merge onto MN-169 N via the ramp to Ely and continue north/northeast for 17 miles. Turn left at Anug Rd/Co Rd 77 and continue to follow Angus Rd. for .8 miles. Pike's Bay Marina will be on your right.
