New Melones Lake: Eclipse Houseboat

The Eclipse proves that a houseboat can be sleek and modern and still spacious. It handles well on the water and is very comfortable when it (and you) are at rest. Beyond having two private staterooms with queen beds, the Eclipse also has two bunks, one full-sized and the other twin-sized. An air-conditioned penthouse on the top deck has two double beds. Lastly, a dinette and couch also convert into beds, allowing the Eclipse to easily accommodate 15 people.

Of course, a houseboat is for more than sleeping. A refrigerator and microwave make your daily meal convenient - once you're out of the water, you can stay out for the extent of your vacation. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, coffeemaker, and blender. After a leisurely dinner, watch movies on the TV and VCR or take an evening plunge off the waterslide on the top deck. Also, naturally, a nice long soak in the hot tub is always a good way to end a day.
